When I saw my first Henry Moore sculpture at the age of eleven, I was hooked! By the age of twelve, I had sculpted a three figure nativity scene for my local church.
To improve my technical understanding, I later enrolled in the Hastings College of Art, Sussex where I completed an Art Foundation and several other advanced courses in sculpture, painting, drawing and ceramics. My first portrait sculpture was of my son when he was two years of age.
Friends admired this sculpture so much that they commissioned me for portraits of their own children. Most of the commission work I’ve produced since has come through similar referral.
